Praying for babies

My heart is leaping with joy!

Ever said a prayer in faith, but somewhere inside you doubted if it would really come to pass?

If we're all honest with ourselves, we would answer yes to that question.

Recently I've had the privilege of praying for two different friends who are desiring to have a child. I was given word recently that BOTH of these two friends I've been praying for ARE EXPECTING!

Is your heart jumping out of your chest after hearing that? Just typing this praise report makes my heart race!

We serve a great big powerful amazing wonderful FAITHFUL Father who answers us when we come to Him in prayer. Like the song we sing so often in church, "Savior, He can move the mountains". Let us be like the persistent widow who wouldn't give up asking the judge for justice (check out Luke 18:1-8).

Are you desiring to have a child and are met with disappointment and heartache instead? I am taking a leap of faith here... I am inviting you to contact me about this prayer need and I will dedicate my time to pray that you will have a child! I just LOVE praying for this. Sitora and I pray every night for our friends and family and she adores praying for babies. She often asks if we can pray for the babies in the orphanage as well.

Would you all in turn be willing to continue praying for adoption to open up in this country? We know so many people longing to bring a little one into their family from the orphanages here. Thank you for standing in prayer with us!

If you would like to contact me about praying for this request, you can email me at javamammacasey at gmail. If you have a friend or family member who is wanting to have a child I would love to pray for them also!

Psalm 139:13-18

13 For you created my inmost being;
   you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
   your works are wonderful,
   I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
   when I was made in the secret place,
   when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
   all the days ordained for me were written in your book
   before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
   How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
   they would outnumber the grains of sand—
