My hippie hair

I digress, I'm sick of bad haircuts and the tears they bring. I'm boycotting.

My insanely brilliant hairstylist in America couldn't fit in my luggage last summer. I wanted to bring her here with me so she could continue perfecting my locks. But she's a bit busy making a little baby inside her belly so I think it's best she stayed home ;)

My first haircut in a local salon here was absolutely horrifying. The man wouldn't spin the chair or move around me to cut my hair. He demanded I stand up and turn around myself, while he stood there and cut. When we first walked in the room he was in no rush to serve me, rather he sat down at his computer and talked on skype with someone while his little "assistants" started washing my hair and such. When I came home and looked in the mirror, I burst out crying. I looked 12 years old. I've been "regrowing" my hair out ever since.

The hippie look isn't so bad, really. I do fun things with my hair, like adding flowers and pinning it all up in fancy ways. I don't just let it hang down stringy and unkept. So there you have it. I don't think I'll be cutting my hair until I return to the homeland this next summer/fall (not sure exactly when yet). Then my hairstylist can fix everything and make my life happy again.

Until then, call me Woodstock girl. 'Cuz these locks ain't goin' anywhere anytime soon!
