My foundation

My heart beats for You alone, Lord
All else can stand still
While I gaze into Your fiery eyes
Surrendering to Your will

The storm clouds rumble
Rays burst from the sun
The seasons come and go
Yet I rest in the Holy One

I'm so thankful for my Savior, who paid the ultimate price for my love. He gives me strength and peace and joy when I can't muster it up myself.

He is good, so very very good. My life belongs to Him and I rest in that.

Rest assured, my friend, that no matter what season you are in now (sunny or stormy) He is there with you. He has carried you through it in the past and He will continue to carry you through it now. With so many things changing and so many ups and downs in life, He is the ever constant, ever faithful One. In your joy, He is there laughing and smiling. In your pain, He is holding you.

In His eyes I find who I truly am. In His eyes I see a man who shed His blood for me. In His eyes I see the God Eternal who created the universe with me in mind. In His eyes I find a peace which no thing on this earth could ever possibly compare.

I love being a wife, mom, pastor's wife, and friend. But my core identity is a worshiper of the King of Kings. When I remind myself of this truth, all else falls into place. My heart is centered and my mind focused.

It's not about me. It's about Him. I will surrender every second, every minute, every day of my life to serve and love Him. He is my rock, my ever present help in time of need.

He is everything.
